‘Slamming’ Sam Kekovich earned an incredible reputation as a premiership player for the North Melbourne Football Club in the VFL/ AFL, but today is better known as one of Australia’s most irreverent and funniest public speakers and media personalities.
Kekovich is now well known for his passionate support of the Australian lamb industry through his recent work as the ‘Lambassador’ for Meat and Livestock Australia.
While he entered the public sphere playing Australian Rules Football in the 1960s, his off-field antics have always been controversial and highly entertaining.
As a speaker at sports club fundraisers and corporate events, Sam brings guaranteed laughs and edge-of-your seat stories from his long career in sport and the media.
Many of Kekovich’s monologues have found legendary status, but don’t expect him to be politically correct.
He will have your audience in stitches as he tells stories honed from his life experiences from the mines in Western Australia to his days training under people like Ron Barassi and his adventures travelling Australia selling lamb to a nation that grew up on the sheep’s back.
Sam travels from Melbourne.
