Australian Pop Quartet is Australia’s hottest electric strings show. Each performer is a virtuoso in their own right - highly skilled in the classical, pop and rock arenas. A minimum of two electric violinists and a cellist will amplify your event on specially modified Yamaha instruments, engaging at all points with the audience.
Australian Pop Quartet presents stunning and dynamic string musicians and orchestras for live television, recording sessions, tours and events.
The Australian Pop Quartet started as an electric string trio called 'Elektra Live' in 2013 with a huge performance for the Rugby Lions VS Wallabies. The girls walked out to a roaring crowd of 54,000 people and played songs to represent each of the countries participating in the Rugby.
Since then, they've specialised in large sporting events, playing for the Swimmer of the Year Awards and for the 2015 announcement of the Soccer World Cup draw to a televised audience of 30 million people worldwide.
High impact performances for Gala Balls, launches and sporting events have kept the Australian Pop Quartet busy but they've still managed to find time to preform with Ed Sheehan, Katy Perry, Jennifer Hudson, Ronan Keating, Nick Cave, Westlife, Kylie Minogue, Tina Arena and more.
