Neale Daniher is creating awareness for a "Beast"

It is important to raise awareness for those outstanding humans that make a difference in life for others even when dealt a hand of incredible misfortune on themselves..but he is not out yet...Neale Daniher is a fighter and an inspiration.

Neale Daniher 4 years ago was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) an incurable disease that affects many thousands of humans around the world and with           NO CURE.

In today medical scientific world, not having resources or money to find a cure, couple with the general public not being fully aware of this dreaded disease, was unbelievable and unacceptable to Neale.

At the time of the prognosis, Neale had two choices, curl up and “Cry” and go into depression and seclusion for an uncertain lifespan on earth or “Laugh”, an look for opportunities to try and make a difference in some way to impact on, as Neale calls it, this “Beast” of a disease. 

In his words, he chose to Laugh with it, as it is better than crying and feeling sorry for yourself.

So in typical Neale Daniher style, he decided to attack the challenge head-on and embark on a quest to make a difference, so he started campaigning for Cure For MND Foundation.

Neale, who is now Vice President/Ambassador of the Foundation announced at this luncheon that they have raised $8,000,000 over the past three years and has just received a further $5,000,000 donation from the Victorian Government with all proceeded going towards MND research. 

This is a monumental effort created by an individual, by communicating and working with all of his family, friends, media connections, AFL clubs and administrators, he has created something very special - awareness and much needed funds for research that will one day find a Cure for MND.

This beautiful human being’s wit, humor, passion, dedication and committed to this cause, was simply inspiring, I was moved beyond words as to the courage and determination Neale exurbs to make a difference whilst on earth.
