With a string of hit television shows and Australia's favourite movie behind her, Jane has also managed to appear on radio and TV as well as fit in writing four cook books - all while raising five young children.
Audiences will be intrigued to hear her talk about what it takes to juggle surviving in the fiercely competitive entertainment industry while attempting to manage life as a working mum.
Jane Kennedy has worked in the media in Australia for over 25 years as an actress, radio announcer, writer and producer. She is a member of the Working Dog team who has produced some of this country's most popular films and television shows including 'The Castle', 'The Dish', 'Frontline' and 'Thank God You’re Here'.
Starting her career in radio in the late eighties at 3UZ in Melbourne, Jane went on to become an integral part of a number one rating breakfast show on Triple M FM where she met comedy performers The D-Generation.
She then became a cast member of ABC TV’s much loved 'The Late Show'.
Forming Working Dog Productions with members of 'The Late Show' in the early 90’s, Jane and the guys produced 'Frontline', the award-winning satirical series about the cutthroat world of commercial current affairs television.
Together they wrote, directed and acted in this series, Jane playing the role of manipulative broadcast journalist Brooke Vandenberg.
She was an original producer of Network TEN’s ‘The Panel’ and is currently appearing as a panelist on Working Dog’s popular show on Network TEN ‘Have You Been Paying Attention?’ recently filling in as host.
She does a weekly segment on the number one FM radio show in Melbourne 'Hot Breakfast with Eddie McGuire Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy'.
She is the author of four best-selling cookbooks focusing on healthy eating.
Clearly taking their commitment to comedy too far, Jane and partner Rob Sitch have five kids under the age of 15.
Jane travels from Melbourne.
