Doug specialises in sales training and customer service especially in the hospitality and call centre industries to increase productivity and results by converting the elusive price shoppers.

Doug Callander is one of those unique individuals who has a wealth of experience as a speaker, motivator, trainer and businessman.

Having delivered more than 1,000 presentations in Australia and overseas he has established himself as the expert on converting the 'price shopper'. His reputation has been built on the training programs he wrote that focus on call centres and the fiercely competitive hospitality industry.

Doug’s presence on stage is renowned as being inspirational and motivational delivered with a good balance of education and humour.

His passion for individual and business development is based on the belief that a business only evolves when people do which shines through on stage.

His business experience spans more than 20 years spent in sales, general management, recruitment and training including 10 years with Yellow Pages. Doug won a number of national sales awards including the Distinguished Management Award for the top Yellow Pages sales team in Australia.

He established Performance Edge Systems in 1991 and turned it into a highly successful company providing consulting, recruiting and training servicers to a wide range of industries here and overseas. In a 10-year period the company made the prestigious BRW Fast 100 Companies list on two occasions before he sold the business.

He is a past president of the National Speakers' Association of Australia NSW Chapter
